This vehicle can be driven to various events, parties, functions, etc. and easily turned on, allowing people to experience VR without having to buy the equipment or go to a Best Buy / Gamestop type of store.

This project stemmed from a group of friends wanting to compete in the Red Bull Soapbox Derby (LA 2009). After succeeding at getting rejected, I sought out to design and build an actual mini food truck that would be a pedal/electric hybrid powertrain. Life for this project started from a 3-wheeled trike that was immediately dismembered and hacked apart. A complete frame was welded together, new wheels, hubs, brakes and steering components were all designed and built.
Seating for the balance seekers. Inspired by the old "you can't keep me down" punching clown kids toy. A self-righting concrete hemisphere base and a lightweight top allow the seat to always be right there waiting for you. Use like a tripod stool with your feet on the floor or put your feet up and activate your inner balance.

Problem: not enough shelf space for additional house plants, books and other knicknacks. solution: a bent sheetmetal shelf that uses the weight of the object to apply pressure on the supports of the shelf; holding it to the railing. Velcro cable ties add a level of security and safety. 16ga steel with 1/8” plywood top for single shelves; 1/4” plywood for the double shelf.
A little patio furniture design. The table is designed to use stock engineered 2x2s and have a solid surface top. The bench seats are designed to use a patterned structural frame and have a small contour seating surface for a comfy stationary butt.
